Robert Earl's BBQ

This place is so wonderful. When you want that home BBQ'd taste but don't feel like pulling out the grill and messing up your own kitchen, this is the place for you. The food is absolutely fabulous. Have to try the brisket and rib tips !!! The bbq beans are delicious as well. If you like banana pudding, you will love Robert Earl's. I don't care too much for banana pudding but theirs is different in a fantastic way. I actually ate this banana pudding. I LOVE peach cobbler and have yet to try theirs. I guess everyone loves theirs because every time I go it's always sold out. This place is really close to my heart because I went there with a huge last minute order and Robert Earl and his wonderful wife Tanya came through for us. I needed a catering order for a Celebration of Life. We discussed our options and they put us together a nice order that fit our budget. Not only did they fulfill my order and meet my requested accommodations, they showed genuine love for our family and event. No level of customer service could ever top that. They treated us, strangers, like family. For that I will be forever grateful and they will always be family to us.

Since the pandemic began we have made it a point to support small businesses, food places mostly. I saw this place on google and decided to try it out, since the reviews looked good. This can’t not be the same bbq you all are talking about in the reviews. The bbq didn’t taste fresh, it had tons of sauce on top. So much that I didn’t even see the brisket. The links taste like a big hot dog and it was sliced into thin pieces(Why?). The Mac and cheese was mushy, no whole noodle in site. The potato salad was what you expect to get from restaurants, nothing special. Y’all definitely need to take “must have” off of the banana pudding. There was no bananas in it and not even pudding. It was some kind of whipped vanilla fluff with wafers mixed in. I’m just being honest. People want to support small businesses, but the quality also needs to be worth it.

My family & I have eaten at Robert Earl's before, but that was some time ago. I don't remember finding the food outstanding in any way, but don't get me wrong... it was good. We recently returned for another try & boy am I REALLY glad we did! I had the Baby Back Rib Dinner with Robert Earl's Mac & Cheese & their Potato Salad. Holy Heck! Yuuu-meee! Everything was so delicious, that I literally wanted to go back to REBBQ right then for more. I don't know what, if anything, has changed in their recipe or cooking process, but I am forever IMPRESSED by the food & can't wait to go again real soon! Every single dish of food was very tastey & fresh. The meat almost melted in my mouth. I recommend Robert Earl's BBQ to everyone who likes BBQ.

Robert Earl's took me out of this world on my tastebuds! So delicious! I loved the beef ribs!! Had so much meat on from your usual you see at the grocery store. I got the beef lovers and mini tex. All meats were delicious!! Definitely recommend this place. I've driven by so many times since I live literally 10 mins away. I thought it was just other bbq place since the ones I've been to weren't so good and made me stop looking for good real bbq. I will definitely visit this place again before my move back east. I'm sad I didn't come sooner and give them a try! Thanks for the wonderful lunch today!! Thanks to Kevin at the front counter taking orders too! He was very hospitable and coincidentally he mentioned North Carolina when he spoke of how bbq is done back east when I told him we came from there...and we really were from NC. 😁

The sides are very suitable compliments to any meat choice. And with their Daily Specials, you won't to mortgage the house to satisfy your barbecue cravings.
